Designer Mama E sources used-to-be remnants from many places, with an eye on gathering and sorting various material types for a unique look.
With careful selection, each remnant is fully machine-washed and dried, before being repurposed into a new, useful hand-crafted creation.

Recycling remnants is a passion with Mama E. From sourcing material to matching and stitching, each Used 2B Bag started out as a remnant. Mama E creates a handbag that she would want to use. And they are completely machine washable - just remove the cloth-covered hardboard bottom insert. Of course, the removeable cloth cover is also washable!

A removable hardboard bottom insert is included, with its own removable cover. The hardboard insert keeps the bottom of the bag flat and sturdy. The recycled fabric has all been machine washed prior to use, and fabric stabilizer added.
YES! All Used 2B Bags are machine washable with the cloth covered hardboard insert removed*.
In the creative process, fabrics are machine washed prior to production., and fabric stabilizer is added during the production process for support.
*Each bag contains a cloth-covered hardboard insert to firm up the base of the bag. The cloth cover is removeable and may be washed with the rest of the handbag. The hardboard insert is not machine washable, however it may be wiped with a damp cloth.
Each handbag has a random color carabiner clip attached inside bag.
Because each handbag is a custom creation, there may be slight flaws or imperfections in some designs. These are part of the uniqueness of each bag, as there are no two the same. As with any garment, it's best to snip loose threads, rather than pull them.

Handbags are approximately 21"W , 16"H x 4" D. Smaller versions are in the works and sizes will be posted when they are available (or you can custom order on the form below).
All handbags and Used2B items are created from recycled remnants (not from used clothing). The rescued remnants used to be (get it?!) lost on a shelf in a fabric store or sewing store. Mama E sources these abandoned fabric pieces,, then lovingly, carefully and meticulously machine washes and dries them, to be later sorted into the color palettes that comprise her beautiful creations.
